The JET JWL-1015 is an excellent and compact revolutionary small wood lathe of new generation packed with unique construction solutions, which make your work much easier.
This lathe is designed for you to have woodturning constantly under control. Machine is made from full cast iron with extra 13 cm wide lathe bed ensuring high stability, minimal vibrations and much better working support. The spindle has the common M33 x 3,5mm thread and has a MK2 internal taper. It is mounted on massive bearings and is driven by a belt through a sufficiently powerful engine. The tailstock also has a 9,5 cm internal bore, the spindle having a 50 mm travel and is self-ejecting. Spindle has 15° locking indexation. Powered by a 370 W induction motor in 6 steps variable speed there is a good range for any project. Spindle speed can be changed to 400, 700, 1000, 1500, 2200 and 3300 rpm by adjusting the position of the belt. The change is quick and easy thanks to lever belt releasing and quick release of pulley cover. All controllers are made of metal. No doubt JWL-1015 is the perfect choice for the amateur woodturner or the advanced turner looking for a small, fully featured machine.
