The first portable thickness planer on the European market with a spiral cutterhead featuring carbide knives. Precisely crafted spiral cutterhead with 36 carbide knives arranged in 4 spirals for maximum precision and efficiency. The spiral cutterhead effortlessly planes even very hard and exotic wood without causing tear-out, resulting in a much smoother finish compared to conventional knives. The carbide knives have significantly longer durability compared to traditional HSS planer knives. In addition, knives can be rotated 4 times for an extended life without the need for replacement or sharpening and time-consuming process of adjusting within the cutterhead. The machine can be used without a dust collector due to the integrated fan and dust bag, ensuring efficient saw dust extraction from the cutterhead. Naturally, a dust collector can be connected. The cutterhead can be locked using lock lever to ensure maximum planing precision. For maximum safety at work, the machine is equipped with rubber-coated feed rollers that firmly hold and feed the workpiece. The powerful motor features overload protection and prevents automatic restart in case of power interruption.
The depth stop on the side enables simple repeat planing with consistent height. The stop can be set to 7 positions ranging from 3.2 mm to 38 mm.
