Chip limiters fit all universal cutter heads with manual feed and a euro locking systém. The hols for locating pins are 6 mm in diameter and are 24 mm apart. They are designed according to the European safety norm to limit the amount of cut taken by the knives on each rotation of the cutter head. They take the form of dummy knives with the profile cut slightly below the cutter profile and with the sharp edges removed. They fit into the slots in the cutter heads in front of the main knives and are secured in the same way as the knives.
