IGM MD Medium Duty Parallel Jaw Clamps are designed particularly for clamping carcasses but are also suitable for clamping or spreading any material. Their smaller size compared to HD parallel jaw clamps makes them handy for small and medium-sized projects. The rubberized swivelling handle allows you to achieve high clamping pressure of up to 460 kg to hold your project tight while the glue cures. Zinc plated, cold drawn steel bar is heavily profiled to minimize bending.
The 90 mm deep jaws made of carbon steel maintain a constant 90° angle even under load and distribute pressure evenly across the whole clamping surface. The jaws are fitted with large plastic covers 47 mm wide that protect against running glue and prevent damaging the clamped material. The removable lower jaw allows you to turn the clamp into a spreader. Patented anti-slip jaw movement on the bar ensures no slide under load.
To clamp carcasses comfortably on a workbench, the clamp is equipped with three supports on the bar to keep it stable on a work surface. The two supports with round corners, placed between the jaws, prevent damaging the material. The support at the end of the bar acts as a jaw stop. It can be quickly removed when converting into a spreader.
