The new version of the PFlux3Tv2 cyclone collector is the most powerful collector in the IGM Laguna Flux range, guaranteeing unmatched performance, high comfort and maximum efficiency. The high-efficiency HEPA filter is equipped with a separate motor for automatic cleaning, which starts every 10 minutes, ensuring maximum comfort and high performance even when running for the whole day.Cleaning can also be activated manually by pressing a button on the control panel or remote control. Swing-away filter shields are fitted with sound-dampening foam that effectively reduces noise.
What is a HEPA filter and how does it work
HEPA filters air particles with an efficiency of 99,2 % for particles over 0,4 microns in size. It is highly efficient compared to regular microfilters, which only filter particles over 1-2 microns. The filter is basically a large flat material made from fibreglass that is folded multiple into a shape of an accordion. Despite its shape, it does not restrict airflow, increasing the overall efficiency of the filtration system. If the filter had only a single layer, the efficiency would be minimal. The folded design won’t allow almost no dust particles to pass through, only clean air.
PFlux 3 is equipped with an LED HEPA filter detection on the control panel. It illuminates whenever the automatic cleaning starts. Additionally, you should clean the filter regularly by connecting an extraction hose between the collector and the filter end cap. This creates a vacuum in the filter, removing the majority of dust. To clean the filter even more efficiently, use compressed air to blow the filter from the outside.
Clever drum design
Emptying the waste drum has never been easier. A clever lifting mechanism lifts up the drum in one motion. Lift the handle to set the drum down. By pushing the handle down, the mechanism lifts the drum with casters and seals it against the drum lid. Drum casters remain up in the air allowing you to easily move the machine around the workshop when the casters on the collector are unlocked.
Cyclone technology
The two-stage cyclone filtration technology offers far better performance than comparable one-stage collectors. Larger chips are separated into the drum before they reach the second filtration stage. This technology ensures consistent airflow.
