IGM F604 is a lightweight Rabbeting Shear Cutter Head for clean rabbeting of solid wood and wood-based materials on spindle moulders. Alternately inclined HW knives reduce fibre tear-out and 4 HW scoring knives create clean, sharp rabbet edges.

The alternately inclined arrangement of the two main knives provides gradual engagement of the cutting edges with the material. This results in a smoother cut, reduces wood fibre tear-out and produces a cleaner surface than comparable rabbeting cutter heads with straight knives. The cutter head is suitable for rabbeting solid wood and wood-based materials.
Four HW scoring knives cut the upper and lower edges of the rabbet and help create sharp corners without burrs or chipping. The hardened aluminium alloy body combines high strength with low weight and reduces spindle load. Meets the safety requirements of EN 847-1.
