IGM Cryo Woodturning Tool Set contains 6 tools for spindle and faceplate turning – skew and parting chisel, roughing, bowl and spindle gouge, round nose scraper. Skew and parting chisel is used for making grooves, fine details or cutting away the material. Roughen unprocessed square material to a round workpiece with roughing gouge or use it to take away material in bulk. Spindle gouge is also suitable for roughing or making grooves and other details. When faceplate turning, you can utilize the round nose scraper and bowl gouge. Use bowl gouge to form hollow shapes and bowls, then shape smooth curves with the round nose scraper.
This set is suitable for both beginners and professional turners. The blade made of M2 high-speed steel is cryogenically treated ensuring longer life and increased edge retention than conventional chisels. Ergonomic handle from beech wood is sturdy for comfort and confidence when turning.
