IGM Chrome Woodturning Hollower is used to turn hollow vessels, especially ones that have a narrow neck. Used on a lathe, the hollower is suitable for both beginners and professional turners. There are 3 types to choose from - Straight, Shallow Swan Neck and Deep Swan Neck. Each hollower is suited for different step of the hollowing process, providing specific angle of hollowing.
Flat design of the chrome plated steel neck allows you to rest the hollower on a lathe tool rest. Together with sturdy ergonomic handle made of beech wood, the hollowing process is made simple and comfortable. Long-lasting carbide tip does not need to be sharpened. When dull, just rotate the tip. The tip needs to be replaced as soon as the edge is dull all around. These hollowers create a very smooth surface that does not require complicated sanding.
