IGM Forged Quick Lever Guide Rail Clamp is designed primarily for quickly securing aluminium plunge saw guide rails, workpieces and jigs to workbenches or profiles. The specially forged fixed arm slides into a 12 x 8 mm T-slot and can be used, for example, with compatible guide rails from Festool, Protool, Metabo, Makita or Hitachi and with Festool MFT-type workbenches.
The ratchet lever mechanism allows the clamp to be quickly tightened and released with one hand. Once tightened, the clamping remains firm and stable even under vibrations generated when cutting or routing with power tools. The all-steel construction provides high durability during frequent use, while the plastic cover on the lower jaw protects the workpiece surface from damage.
The narrow arm takes up less space than a conventional clamp with a large jaw, making it suitable for securing templates and jigs during machining. It can be used, for example, with the IGM FK650 jig for worktop joints or the FKP900 jig for drilling shelf support holes and dowelling, where the clamp does not obstruct the router, drill or drilling spindle. When secured to a suitable fence profile, the clamp can also be used as an auxiliary stop for repetitive cutting or routing.
